Highly Scalable AIT-5 Tape Storage Format

AME-III coating process strengthens the base film of AIT-5 tape media and contributes to the increased data density and outstanding output characteristics. AME-III is the advanced form of AME-II technology in which new mechanism has been employed to apply magnetic layer onto the media tape reel. Sony has introduced a new and highly reliable lubricant that assists the Sony AIT-5 tape format to stabilize its backup operations. SDX5-400W is the WORM cartridge while the SDX5-400C tape cartridge does not include the WORM functionality. SDX5-400C and SDX5-400W are based on the Sony AIT-5 media technology. The noise level has been significantly decreased in Sony AIT-5 media tapes by the AME-III technique. AME III technology has also helped to decrease the magnetic particles’ size thus making the tape surface smoother. Low noise level and increased track density allows Sony SDX5-400W tape cartridge to record voluminous amount of data at a brisk rate with decreased error rate. Spacing loss has been significantly decreased by Sony in the AIT-5 media format by incorporating the latest AME-III technology.

The ultra smooth tape of Sony SDX5-400C backup cartridge comprises of small sized metal particles that are very useful in high density recording. Sony AIT5 offers breakthrough features that make it unique and more durable tape media than other tape technologies. Metal evaporated process developed by Sony coats the tape surface with a uniform layer that results in increased storage capacity.

Sony AIT-5 tape storage format has been intelligently designed and manufactured to stand apart. Data searching process in AIT-5 has been speeded up by the employment of memory chip in the cartridge. Sony AIT5 is the only tape cartridge that simultaneously has the feature of pure magnetic layer and cartridge memory chip (MIC) chip. These advantageous features have been engineered by Sony for long durable life and maximum recording capacity. Pure cobalt is used by Sony in manufacturing the SDX5-400W tape media cartridge which results in high retentivity and high output characteristics. Pure magnetic layer is uniformly applied on the tape reel of Sony AIT-5 media to ensure ultra fine tape surface. This whole process is carried out without the help of any binders and adhesives.

AME technique has boosted the performance and output characteristics of Sony AIT-5 backup storage format. As the data tape cartridge is inserted into the backup tape drive, the drive reads the operational and directory information that is recorded in the memory chip. This elevates the performance and speeds up the data searching, thus saving time and cost. Sony AIT-5 technology helps the data administrators and IT managers to effectively carryout their job tasks. The AIT-5 media format ensures rapid access that elevates the overall efficiency. Fast media loading time of AIT-5 format helps to minimize the operational costs. The coating layer of SDX5-400C cartridge’s tape reel is very hard that comprises of diamond like carbon (DLC). The DLC coating strengthens the media durability and ensures mechanical stability thus enabling AIT-5 tape it to deliver outstanding data backup results.

Body Kits

You can see them rushing on the races and everywhere around you. They are the things that will make your head spin. The speed and performance is one thing – here we talk also about style. They won’t just add some new look to your car – they will remodel it in the way you want but you never thought is possible. There are the car body kits – preferable from the younger generation, enjoyed just as well from the others.

Body kit is anything that adds new look to your vehicle. It can be set on your front bumper, put on the hood or anywhere you like it to be. However you need to pick the right body kit for your needs.

The history of the body kits begins in 1961 when Jim Hall applies them in order for the aerodynamics to be improved. It works by pushing the car downward and let the air around it go on more efficient way. It gives the car ability to move fast with less interference. People today use this aerodynamic technology not only to improve their cars but to make them look good and impress whoever sees them.

After the popular movie “The Fast and the Furious” we began seeing many of these car body kits on the streets. They are usually used with a good paint and nice looking pictures making the car look really hot.

Today’s tendency is in favor of one product called Lambo doors. These are sliding doors that turn up on 90o and are used usually on two doors cars. Aerodynamics is about how you let the wind go around your car with minimal effort. When done properly the air goes in the freest direction and by doing this it pushes down the car and cools down the engine.

When talking about it we have to mention the car spoilers. They will not only improve the ability of your car to move through the air efficiently but will add a really fast looking style to it. They are irreplaceable in drag races but will do fine just as well even if you want only to move around the town. They come in different shapes and sizes to match different car models.

The tendency on the market today is to build in the shapes and styles in the car on its production. This is at first done in the Japanese market but it is expanding all over the world. It gives both great look and performance of the car and a lower final cost.

Usually when people are installing car body kits they get a full package in order for everything to fit well. However when someone want to give his car a unique look he picks all the parts by himself. Of course when doing this he needs to consider all the parts to look similar and the market today give that option.

Roof scoops are another way to improve the aerodynamics of a car. Some people buy them only for show because they usually already have a good way to cool the engine and prevent overheating but in races roof scoops seem to be the best way to do that.

New Product Alert: Cartridge Pre-Filters From Pro Filter,inc

Pro Filter,Inc has just started manufacturing a new filter called Pre-Filters or Overbags. The Pre-Filters are made to slip over most cartridge filters and will greatly extend the life of the cartridge filter.

In some cartridge filter applications, strands or fiberous dusts have a tendency to bridge across the filters, become wedged in the cartridge pleats and even stick to the media, making pulse cleaning difficult. Examples of this are: Corn shelling, paper, fiberglass, seed processing, fiberglass, hay compacting and many more. To prevent bridging and wedging, the nylon mesh cartridge overbags are fitted over the cartridge filter. When the system is turned on the very fine and slippery nylon mesh Pre-Filter is sucked into the cartridge filter. The Pre-Filter fits loosely around the cartridge filter so when it pulsates the Pre-Filter does not restrict air flow. The nylon mesh is so slippery that when the system pulsates nothing sticks to it's surface. It is also so fine that the bigger particles can not penetrate the nylon mesh. The bottom line is that your filter cartridge will last longer and will save your company money. This pre filter fits over vertical cartridges and comes in various sizes.
