New Product Alert: Cartridge Pre-Filters From Pro Filter,inc
Pro Filter,Inc has just started manufacturing a new filter called Pre-Filters or Overbags. The Pre-Filters are made to slip over most cartridge filters and will greatly extend the life of the cartridge filter.
In some cartridge filter applications, strands or fiberous dusts have a tendency to bridge across the filters, become wedged in the cartridge pleats and even stick to the media, making pulse cleaning difficult. Examples of this are: Corn shelling, paper, fiberglass, seed processing, fiberglass, hay compacting and many more. To prevent bridging and wedging, the nylon mesh cartridge overbags are fitted over the cartridge filter. When the system is turned on the very fine and slippery nylon mesh Pre-Filter is sucked into the cartridge filter. The Pre-Filter fits loosely around the cartridge filter so when it pulsates the Pre-Filter does not restrict air flow. The nylon mesh is so slippery that when the system pulsates nothing sticks to it's surface. It is also so fine that the bigger particles can not penetrate the nylon mesh. The bottom line is that your filter cartridge will last longer and will save your company money. This pre filter fits over vertical cartridges and comes in various sizes.
